Service-Learning Initiative

Starting October 31, Mindy Wright, assistant provost in the Office of Academic Affairs and Undergraduate Education, will serve as the interim director of the Service-Learning Initiative (SLI). This coincides with SLI's new direct reporting line to the Office of Undergraduate Education, which will help the initiative continue to enhance student learning through service-learning, support faculty engaged in service-learning, and monitor and assess student learning outcomes. SLI will maintain strong ties to the Office of the Senior Vice President for Outreach & Engagement with a reporting line to catalog service-learning courses, increase visibility for service-learning, and develop opportunities for funding and programming.
